Welcome to Sixth Grade w/ Mr. La Veglio and Mrs. Stage! (View here)
My educational goal is to help my students develop, hone, and apply their positive behavioral and academic skills for which will help them grow into well-adapted learners. When my students enter and leave my classroom, I want them to know that no matter what, there will always be new and exciting aspects of life to learn. Most importantly, I want my students to always use the lessons they've learned within my classroom as building blocks for their futures. An Italian proverb reads: The teacher is like the candle, which lights the way for others in consuming itself. I hope to continue lighting the way for my students.
- We are a peanut and nut-free classroom! Parents, please make every effort not to send products containing these ingredients to the classroom. Please, NO cupcakes or other treats to be brought in for your child's birthday. Water bottles filled with water are fine, but absolutely NO FOODS IN THE CLASS!
- Please do not send your child to school if he or she is sick. Perfect attendance is not perfect when your child is ill.
- Please look through your child’s backpack and check his/her planner every day. Sometimes they may “forget” to hand you important papers.
Thank you for your support and cooperation!
