Lakehurst Elementary School held its third annual Turkey Trot, bringing excitement and friendly competition to students in grades 6–8. Participants raced one another as they trotted three laps around a series of cones, cheering on classmates and celebrating each other’s efforts. The event encouraged physical activity, teamwork, and school pride, while giving students a fun way to kick off the Thanksgiving season. Adding to the festive spirit, some friends even dressed as turkeys, creating plenty of laughter and memorable photo moments. Pictured is Ms. Silvestri, with her turkey squad.
